COURSE OUTLINE:

This course provides an understanding of qualitative research and methods such as observation, non-probability sampling, interviewing, life history, arts-based methods, and field notes. We also examine aspects of developing research proposals, research ethics, data analysis, and writing.

Format: Lecture & Workshops

EVALUATION:  Participation, presentations, discussions, in-class workshops and experiential activities, mid-term exams, final assignment, & final exam
