William (Bill) O’Grady received a B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from Carleton University and a PhD in Sociology from the University of Toronto. He was also a pre-doctoral fellow at Memorial University's Institute for Social and Economic Research. Using recidivism data obtained from the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General, he led and recently completed a 5-year team study that evaluated the John Howard Society of Toronto's Reintegration Centre in South Etobicoke. He is also working with Steve Gaetz and Sean Kidd on a longitudinal survey of youth homelessness in Canada which was administered in over 50 communities across the country.
